Plugfones Guardian Plus, Earplugs with Audio, 26 dB NRR, Noise Isolating Mic and Controls

hi this is David Frank from tools of the trade today I'd like to show you a couple of cool items I picked up earlier this month with the staff to show the first are some corded plug phones plug phones is the brand and this is a in the ear ear plug like you use with any media player or phone what's cool about these as they are have an NRR rating and in our R stands for noise reduction rating and it's what any set of your headphones would have you know like these headphones these are probably somewhere around an NRR rating at 22 you know these are probably a little bit higher in the high 20s what the nrr rating is is it's basically that's how much it how many decibels in theory it can knock off the noise its surrounding you so in theory these would these have a rating of 25 they would knock 25 decibels off the sound in practice you usually knock off about half that because they assume tha
