It'll clock in either miles per hour or kilometers per hour, it'll also show you feet per second or meters per second. And it's got this recall button so you can see the last couple speeds that you clocked. The sensor is on the back so make sure you don't block it when you're using this, just point at wherever you want, press the red button and you've got a speed.
