Re-roll from a 3" core to a 3" core. You will need an empty core and some masking tape. Empty cores can be purchased or you can salvage them from used label rolls. In this example, we are re-rolling to fix the position of the black mark on the liner side of the label stock. We want it on the other side so that the sensor in the LX printer can read it. Lay both cores on their sides. Attach a strip of tape to the end of the roll. Attach the tape to the empty core. Make sure the labels are aligned to the core by attaching the tape while both rolls are contacting the table. Begin rolling the labels to the new core. Make circular motions with both hands while your fingers are in the center of the core. You may need to stop occasionally to make sure the edges of the stock are aligned with the edge of the core.
