everybody if LAN Simon and welcome to camera 101 where we're going to explain cameras and camcorders in plain English and in this first edition we're going to focus on memory cards because there are a lot of different options available and a lot of numbers to kick around I'm going to try to explain hopefully in plain English what all of this stuff means to you now right now in the marketplace we have pretty much two basic formats of cards that you'll be looking at the larger SD cards and the smaller micro SD cards and the nice thing about the SD format is that you can adapt the smaller cards of the larger one so if you have a couple cameras that use these little cards you can take the little card and put it in an adapter like this one and be able to put it into a larger camera or into your computer because a lot of computers don't support the micro SD format for memory card readers so y
