Description
The Vault is a small form factor network appliance built for use as a firewall / router and is compatible with a variety of open source firewall projects. The FW6A-0 comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB mSATA SSD. There is no operating system installed. The Celeron 3865 CPU is soldered to the board (embedded).
This CPU supports AES-NI.
Tested compatibility: Most open source software firewall solutions, including pfSense, VyOS, OPNsense, Security Onion, Untangle, CentOS 7, *BSD, Linux, and Windows.
Hardware Specifications:
6x Intel 82583V NIC ports (note that Intel ports are known to cause less problems than realtek or others)
Intel Celeron Dual Core Kaby Lake @ 1.8GHz, 64 bit
Supports for up to 32GB DDR4 1866/2133MHz (2x SODIMM, max 16GB per slot)
Hardware support for mSATA form factor SSD, or 2.5" SSD (mounting bracket is included)
USB : 4x USB 3.0 ports
wireless : 1x USB Channel Wifi via 2nd PCIe port
Com port : 1x RJ45 COM Port
12V 4A power supply included with US cord
Ready for wireless, with pre-drilled chassis holes
Optional Wireless card available from Protectli. Card is USB Channel and fits in a PCIe form factor.
Operating Temperature 14 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit (-10 to 60 degrees Celsius)
All metal enclosure for durability and heat dissipation
WAN=NIC1, LAN=NIC2, OPT1=NIC3, OPT2=NIC4, OPT3=NIC5, OPT4=NIC6
This device is small and it's fanless, so there's no noise. The 6 Intel NIC ports are proven to be the most reliable for use with high throughput packet switching applications and the Vault can route at gigabit wire speeds (~930Mbits per second as tested with iPerf). Use the 6 ports to configure different layers of security within your network for extra protection. Set up a VPN or Captive Portal. Enable dual WAN. Add intrusion detection to your network with Snort, or enable full visibility into network conversations with NTOP.
This CPU supports AES-NI.

Product review & video
so review these in the past these are the passively cooled I believe it's pronounced protect tele firewalls and they make really nice little pfsense foxes this one's pretty slick this is their newest model now their old models we're really popular they're nice but they don't have the AES ni support which means the potential future versions of software like pfsense won't be working on this also without the AES you lose some speed because it's a hardware decryption on there for things like VPN anyways back to the products so well this is their latest one and right away I'm impressed with its it's heavy I don't have the exact ounces right here but it also has six Intel eight two five eight three V ports this is a seller on model they have two models once in Intel series i3 the other one is a seller on that's one we have which is the 365 you cab u leik 1.8 gigahertz now these ship with no m
