hi this is Seth wild from Sonic Electronix calm and today we're going take a look at JL audios w3 subwoofer right here we have the 12-inch w3 and this is an incredible subwoofer we're going to take a closer look at it now RMS this is going to be pushed about 500 Watts peak around a thousand but let's take a closer look at some of the technology that it goes behind the subwoofer because JL Audio packs so much technology into each and every one of their subwoofers despite their their simplistic design so first thing one take a look at is the cone and the surround so if we take a closer look it's a very simple this is a flat black cone the cone itself is mineral filled polypropylene and the surround is an MBR surround and it's going to give you high excursion very strong very rigid very nice cone and surround structure if we flip this around on take a look at the the frame the magnet and a
