Description
Innovative design and engineered materials make Ty-Rap cable ties the perfect fastening solution where performance really matters. Often imitated but never equaled, Ty-Rap cable ties provide superior performance in any application. TY523M cable ties with stainless steel locking devices are made of natural Nylon 6.6. The low head is designed to prevent snags on uneven surfaces and easier to pull through bulkheads. Non-magnetic stainless steel locking device insures both maximum strength and the right tightness every time. Because there are no notches, Ty-Rap ties provide an infinite number of locking positions while fastening the tie at the precise bundle diameter needed. The No-Slip Tail provides easy grip during tensioning. Ty-Rap ties feature a unique friction surface designed to reduce slippage during installation. A smooth, notch less body reduces stress concentration points under tension, making the tie stronger and lower profile than notched body ties. Ribbed and Stippled body grips the bundle and prevents slippage. Rounded edges protect insulation, preventing sharp edges from damaging cables. Thomas & Betts was founded in 1898 by two young engineers from Princeton, Robert M. Thomas and Hobart D. Betts, and is now a leading designer and manufacturer of connectors and components for the electrical and communication market. With over 100 years in the electrical market Thomas & Betts has become a major player in the North American low-voltage products market.
