with Jackie on the run comment Giga noms site and I've been asked a lot to give a video overview of the Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 14 which is the 14 inch version of the consumer line of the ThinkPad from Lenovo and so that's what we're gonna have a look at today very quickly it's a nice 14 inch screen it's relatively thin and light for a 14 inch I think it's about four to four and a half pounds it's a little heavy but it's pretty capable a little device here so we'll take a quick tour around the the outside of the ThinkPad Edge and then we'll move in for some close-ups but we have on this side of the inch VGA out USB port Ethernet we've got a multi card multi-format card reader and we have a looks like that almost looks like an HD ma belt or a proprietary dock of some sort then on this side we've got two more USB ports and wonderfully a nice optical drive a DVD burner and the power jack now
