Replacement Battery for Zoom Q8 Recorder

so we've got the zoom q8 here I'm posting this as a battery hack it's not really a battery hack it's just one of those things to clarify because I was looking for information on after I got it a few days ago and I was kind of disappointed when you read the manual and some of the reviews I saw on it as well they make you believe like you can't power it when you're using it by plugging it in it won't charge while you're using it that's the thing so if you plug it into the USB cable that comes with it it's a mini USB cable not a micro USB cable but if you plug that into the back I'm gonna go ahead and power this up plug it into the back slot and if it's off you'll see the red light come on and it's charging if you turn it on and start recording that red light turn it on alone if the red light goes off it's not charging and that's the only way to charge it as is unless you buy the extra bat
