we wanted to talk today about a few that
different kinds of camcorder tapes and the adapters they make so you can put
them in a standard VHS player. So from left to right we have a VHS-C which is
VHS compact; we have a Sony 8mm which is also Hi8 or Digital8; and we have a
MiniDV tape which is also an HDV tape now-a-days in HD. So these are the three probably most common formats of video camera cassettes and when this one came
out if you look inside here it's a half inch tape half inch VHS tape the same as
a standard VHS tape If you open this up. so what they did was they made a adapters
that are the same size as a VHS tape that you open up, insert the tape into and
then the little motor in there with a AA battery that expands the tape and makes
it into a regular VHS tape and you can put this into your normal VHS VCR and
watch back your camcorder movies and this has got better here on
