hi I'm cash with cashed out cars and in today's video I'm going to be going over how to fix the airbag light that's related to the Volkswagen codes 0 1 2 1 7 which is the driver's side and 0 1 2 1 8 now these are both codes that come up for side airbags in the seat and there's a problem with the wiring that often comes up that will trigger this code so in this video I'm going to show you how to diagnose that and hopefully fix your problem you the normal cause of this problem is a yellow connector that Volkswagen normally uses in their cars right here to connect this green brown and white wire over to this black blue and brown wire now that connector normally fails and the code will come up and you'll get the airbag light now to fix that Volkswagen did a bypass to basically take out the connector and run a hardwire to connect all those wires together and Volkswagen dealerships were doing
