hey everyone right now I want to show you the RAM mount ball and socket system specifically how it works what it does and some different options that you have available to you when using it here I have three RAM mount components two of them are the same though on one end I have a plate with a ball on the other end I have a plate with a ball and I have an arm in the middle sort of holding everything together this arm has an open socket in each end that accepts the ball from the plate and each socket here is a pivot point and what that does is it gives me a great range of motion and I can really customize exactly how I have these components position when I have them in a position that I'm happy with I have this knob on the side of the arm I can tighten that up and that is going to secure the mount in place the ball that fits into the socket that ball is made out of rubber so what happens
