hey everyone in this video we're going to take a look at the ram mounts locking suction cup mount for the apple ipad air this is the ram dash b-166-ap17 this mount is a bundle and it is made up of five individual components we have here our locking suction cup base we have a ram mounts aluminum diamond plate with a one inch b size ball we have a standard length b socket arm we have our custom cradle for the apple ipad air and then the final component is this round plate with a one inch ball i've attached this plate to the back of the cradle already it doesn't come like this you'll have to attach it yourself but the nice thing about this cradle is that it has two different spots where you can mount that plate so i have it mounted here off to the side a little bit but you can also have that ball mounted more centered on the back of the cradle if you prefer so we can get our suction cup to
