hi this is Andy from GPS training in this short video I'm going to show you the Garmin lanyard carabiner that we normally use on a garmin montana handheld gps device so we can attach a carabiner to the bottom of the unit to clip the device onto something to carry it with the garmin montana doesn't have the same spine connection on the back as some of the smaller units so you can't use the standard cover being a clip you have to use this land yard version so i'm just going to open up the box to show you what you get inside it's free open up the box inside we have some instructions from Garmin on fitting it the carabiner clip and a small piece of black webbing with a plastic connection on the end so what we do with this piece of black webbing is we thread it through the lanyard slot on the bottom of the Montana GPS device so that's what I'm going to do first we're just going to thread thi
