Rand McNally Bold Wall Map (RM528012762)

this is a wall map obviously a roller map of the great city of new york and it was done actually by rand mcnally which was based in chicago but they in the early 1900's like 1910 they opened a shop and a printing shop in new york city in manhattan and uh we had their sign it was a great big metal sign from the side of the building when they got rid of it uh and uh but it sold uh i think maybe to the ramen alleys but uh this is the f uh boom time in new york things are really pretty fully developed the street patterns are probably the same as they are now on manhattan and the bronx and the neighboring areas but in 1969 i quit teaching and graduate school to become a stock broker with e f hutton one of the oldest older and top in the names edward hutton was married to margie and weather smith who was an extremely rich rich woman who owned the washington post and at any rate uh and they li
