hi jim from raymarine with an axiom quick tip for you today we're going to upgrade the lighthouse operating system on this axiom plus nine inch that i've got here now this procedure works on axiom plus also on axiom axiom pro and axiom xl models now there's two ways you can update the software if your boat happens to be near a wi-fi hotspot or you have internet hotspot service on your phone you can link your mfd to the internet and it'll connect directly to raymarine's servers and update your display and peripherals the other way you can do it is you can visit raymarine.com download the software onto a micro sd card and load it through your card reader and that's what i'm going to show you today now this axiom plus has its card reader on the rear so i've taken my card and plugged it in on the card slot and i'm going to go down here to my settings menu i'm going to choose update software
