hey YouTube it's star the antenna man today I'm going to test out and review this RC a compact outdoor yagi antenna it runs about 40 dollars on Amazon even comes with a mounting pole depending on what website you find it on it either claims 70 or 150 mile range it looks like RCA is jumping on the 150 mile range bandwagon probably to compete with this piece-of-junk antenna that I tell people not to buy and they buy it anyway you're not gonna find antenna that's going to get TV stations reliably from 150 miles away because guess what the earth is curved and the signals travel in a straight line and the further you go from the transmitters the more you go down the curvature of the earth so about 70 80 100 miles the signals just fade into outer space it can't really pick them up anymore in some rare instances people do receive TV stations from hundreds of miles away during certain rare atmo
