today i will be programming my rca universal remote to my dvd player first turn on your dvd or vcr point your mode like your dvd player then press and hold the vcr slash dvd button then press 2 if you have a vcr or press 3 if you have a dvd player i have a dvd player so press three then release both of the buttons wait until it stops flashing then hold and press the vcr slash dvd button then hold and press the on and off switch wait until the light turns on and stays on then release both the buttons then press play by this the remote will be trying to program with your dvd player keep pressing play every 5 seconds until it shuts off now my dvd player has shut off then press the reverse key keep pressing the reverse key every two seconds until your dvd or your vcr player turns on my dvd player has turned on now i will press stop your mode is programmed with your dvd or your vcr player th
