This video shows how to replace the ink cartridges for the HP ENVY 5640, ENVY 5660, ENVY 7640, Officejet 5740, or Officejet 8040 e-All-in-One printer. Replace cartridges that are low or out of ink with new, genuine HP cartridges. Before you replace the cartridges and begin the alignment process, load paper into the printer. Grasp the handle on the input tray, and then pull the tray toward you to open it. With the input tray pulled out, push in the photo tray as far as possible. Slide out the paper width guides as far as possible. Align a stack of paper by tapping it on a flat surface. Load plain white paper into the paper tray. Push the paper toward the back of the input tray until the paper stops, but does not bend, and then slide the paper width guides inward so that they lightly rest against the edges of the paper.
