all right so i'm going to show how to open up and disassemble this toshiba satellite c55-b5242x all right so first what you want to do is undo all the screws if you remove these two screws you can pull out the battery so these are all ph one screws so remove these two then pull out the battery then you want to remove the other screws so there's one two three 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13. all right believe that's all let me double check 2 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15. okay so 15 screws total including the battery screws once you remove the battery you want to press and hold the power button to drain any power from it just so you don't accidentally short anything out inside the computer all right okay so once you do that then you want to pop the cover off so you want to be careful because the hinge is no longer being held with all these screws so you don't want to um to what do you call open
