Replacement for Dell Inspiron 1420 LAPTOP LCD Screen 14.1" WXGA CCFL SINGLE

hi and welcome to our video on replacing the LCD screen in the dell inspiron 1420 we're going to remove the battery first and make sure that our laptops unplug and that we're anti-static and then once we've done that what I'm going to do is open up the laptop so that and and and pull the screen as far back as possible so that I can start removing the rubber grommets that are on top of the Phillips head screws that we need to remove these rubber grommets are held down with just some sticky stuff on the bottom and I found that the sticky stuff didn't really go away and you can whenever you put them back that it'll still stick down we're going to remove the Phillips head screws I'm using the number 0 craftsman screwdriver and this holds down the front bezel around the screen now that's clip to the back bezel so I use a flathead screwdriver here to kind of give myself a little leverage to g
