hi there this is just a short video showing you how to remove the blanking plate and change power supplies on a 40 Gate firewall this one is a model 600 CE but this will apply to the higher models like the 800 and 1000 as well what we have here is a brand new firewall straight out of the box comes with one power supply already installed and it comes with a blanking plate first things first you need to remove the little holding screw it should only be held in by thumb tightness you shouldn't need a screwdriver to remove a regular power supply you would normally just push on the lever and lift the power supply up slide the new one in it clicks in place the blanking plate however is held in quite securely but what you'll notice is underneath is a little slit the blanking plate actually has a hook that hooks into that slit and we need to release that in order to pull it out now you'll notic
