hi and welcome back to joel's diy um today i got a package from rockville delivering these two drivers these are 12-inch subwoofer drivers um model rv12w8 uh so the reason i ordered these was because i got these uh yamaha speakers that i'm planning to put into my music room slash home theater and as you recall the driver on this one damaged the sound is okay that's coming out of the pile driver it's just that i wanted to get something a little bit better and i figured if i was going to replace one driver i might as well replace the other so these are coming out of the yamaha nsa 575 um i want to see how it works out because uh the wattage here uh is 140 watts uh on 8 ohms so the these are rated a little higher and as you can see they could run around 300 watts but can go up to 1 200 at peak power so i'm hoping that these uh give me a little bit more bass um one of the reasons why i didn
