Rode K2 Multi-Pattern Dual Condenser Valve Microphone

hey guys Ryan Earnhardt here from creative Sound Lab TV where audio recording is an art form what today we're going to be doing a shootout between the same microphone but one will be cold one will be warmed up and ready to go the one on the left here the road k2 I've had this one going for the past couple hours the one on the right completely cold it's not even running at the moment I don't recommend doing this okay this is just for the sake of capturing it for the video and then this is probably the last time I'll do this I always let stuff warm up somebody somebody mentioned that online wrote a review and said they didn't like the fact they had to to warm up the mics I think it's a bit ridiculous if you think of all the good things in life you typically have to do a little bit of prep to get the best results this comes from if you cook a piece of meat like a steak you never cut right
