HP Power Supply (N9F71UT)

so here I have HP computer and it has no power so I'm going to be testing it at this power supply just connecting the power and on the main connector the power supply to make it turn on pretty sure it's the green one green and ground should start the fan on if the fan doesn't go on then it so the fan did go on it's making a funny sound low so I'm gonna have to replace that power supply so it was a power supply issue so I do have a this power supply and it fits in okay the only problem is the connectors not long enough right here the 12 volts and has two SATA which is good one for the cd-rom and one for the hard drive so my idea is I'm going to extend and cut this off and extend it so out of these on and that will give it enough room because fits in there nicely not a problem so this is gonna be the solution I had a couple other that are bad seen make and model but these guys don't put e
