hi I'm Rob from B&H and we're gonna take a quick look at the Rycote portable audio recorder kit for the h4n this kit is designed to solve two common problems you may encounter when capturing audio with your zoom h4n the shock mount helps cut down on handling and vibration noise and the mini wind jammer reduces wind noise let's take a look at the shock mount right Coates lyre suspension system has a lot going for it it is a really effective job of isolating the mics from vibrations while also being tough and resilient enough for everyday use the mount itself has a standard camera thread that screws into the socket on the bottom of your h4n the tube and lyre suspension system isolates the top of the mount from the base the base then gives you a couple of mounting possibilities first there's a cold shoe adapter which screws right into the base unless you mount the h4n right to your camera'
