[Applause] hello my name's our and today I'm going to show you how to replace your integrated headset so the headset on your bike is what allows you to steer we've done videos before showing how to maintain and service your headset but if things have got really bad you might need to fit a new one with a modern a headset design as you have on pretty much all bikes these days then it's a pretty quick and easy job that you can do at home first thing you're going to need to get right is choosing the correct headset now in this day and age it's one of the trickiest parts because there's so many different headset types out there so check your specifications and make sure you order the right one you're not gonna need many tools to do this job you need some allen keys possibly some tox keys depending on the way that your stem attaches to the bike if you have a split crown race you can remove it
