It’s perfect when you need to cover up cables that are running across carpeting; whether it’s Berber, loop, or commercial grade carpet. This works fantastic. It’s a nice product because it blends in with your décor; it’s not a big obvious thing to step over. It’s very low profile and very flat. It’s made out of a durable Cordura Nylon which is very tough and stands up to a lot. It’s a perfect solution if you want to avoid adhesive. It can get really annoying if you have a residue left after using duct tape or something similar on carpet. With this it is not a problem. It works like Velcro. It’s a hook and loop design.
