hi welcome to Samsung's video how to guides my name is Chris and I'm going to show you how to replace the lamp in your DLP TV first I want to point out that I'm using this HL s model but the process is basically the same for all the LPS now let's gather the few tools we need to complete this repair all we need is a good sized Phillips head screwdriver a small cup and a pair of gloves we need the gloves for a few reasons first they protect you even with the TV unplug some electricity is stored in the capacitors and while it's not a dangerous amount of electricity it is enough to put you on your backside secondly the gloves protect the TV and lamp from oils on your skin that can rub off and possibly harm your TV or crank the bulb of your lamp this brings me to the most important point of this video under no circumstances should you ever touch the bulb okay with that out of the way let's g
