Satellite Radio Mini Antenna

hey everybody doing a little shop cleaning up here and i have a uh an old sirius xm uh satellite radio antenna and uh i always wondered what was inside of one of them and it's a it's a model similar to the one we'll show here and we're going to go ahead and cut that open and see what's actually in it so let's go okay so here's uh what i'm going to cut open and as you can see i've already started i had started to do it and then decided to stop and and video this so i could show it and so i had already cut the stem off of it here because i could not get it loose from the mount that it's on it's been on my truck for a while and you can see here that the coax is molded into the stem itself and we'll go ahead and get the rest of it opened up and let you have a look-see [Music] all right so there's what we have so far now we'll take and get that piece out of there and see what that looks like
