every day hi guys today we are replacing LCD on iPad Mini 5 and we are replacing the digitizer and the LCD assembly as always we need a heat gun to apply heat on the screen side to lose the adhesive underneath the screen after hitting with the heat gun I'm starting from the top side I'm using a razor blade to pry up the screen just a little bit then I stick in some playing cards before I pry up the screen and use the playing cards to slowly pry up the screen if you need more heat use a heat gun to apply more heat to make the job easier [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] now we do have access to the inside of the iPad Mini 5 we cannot take up the screen yet because there are cables connected to the logic board and in order for us to remove the screen we need to disconnect the cables first of all there are two screws to remove [Music] and use a plastic pry tool
