hi guys so you might see my last video which showed my iMac in pieces on the floor after it fell from my desk and I was quoted a price of a few hundred euros from the local authorized Apple service center to replace the glass panel on the screen so I picked up a glass panel on eBay for 60 euros including shipping and I thought I'd post a video just showing you the process of replacing the glass panel on the iMac so this is the glass that I picked up it's for a twenty one a half inch mid 2011 eye mic and you have to make sure that you get the right one for your iMac because they're all slightly different glass panel for 2010 21 and a half inch iMac won't fit on a 2011 21 1/2 inch and the same with the 2012 so on the top of the screen there you can see there are four pins and they fit into four hollows on the top of the screen bezel there and then on the bottom of the glass there are four
