we have a Nikon d3100 with a broken SD door cover here is the replacement part that I purchased on eBay and the instructions are getting this far I would highly recommend you going YouTube go to Nikon d3100 LCD cover removal and here's the author GS 0 5 0 303 and following instructions on how to remove the screws on the backside of the Nikon d3100 once you get all the screws remove you do not need to open the entire back cover if you're only just replacing this SD door cover pay attention you've got a spring back here and once you have it inserted back into the pen grooves you do not want to close the door otherwise you'll crimp the spring as I did neither get appliers and bend them back in the shape the two springs will fit and just let me get this in focus in the spring groove right here one corner there and one corner there once the door is assembled again I repeat once you've gotten
