hi guys Dave here a f5 DN and today I want to show you this little external speaker it's a Nagoya speaker and I picked this up on eBay for $12.99 delivered $12.99 including the shipping and a lot of times with these external speakers folks always ask question well how good is the audio and that's a very important question and he answered that on this radio is it's not very good I just got to be honest with you if I was trying to use this speaker for voice communication or phone or whatever you want to call it I would be very disappointed however for the purpose that I bought the speaker it does a sufficient job let me explain when I'm running digital mode on my 8:17 the audio from the 817 goes into the rig blaster up here the audio is then converted through the USB to the PC this also has an external speaker jack on it where you can run an external speaker and that's what this is plugge
