Shure A98D Microphone Drum Mount for BETA 98 & SM98A Microphones

hi everybody my name is Rob Creegan and we're here at AE s in the sure booth and I'm going to show you about some of our brand new beta microphones that we've just introduced here at the show what I've got in my hand is the beta 98 EMP or better known as the beta 98 amp this is a new drum microphone and it's got a little lot of really cool features it's got a brand new cartridge that was specifically designed for toms and other drums and percussion so it really makes the drum sing and sound like itself it gives it a very natural sound the other thing we did with this drum mic is put the preamp inside so as you can see standard XLR connector there it is a condenser mic so you're going to want to use phantom power and we have this really nice thick rigid goose neck that allows you to position the microphone in very different places on the drum so you can really get it anywhere you need to
