The Silver Spring Premium Lift and Carrier was developed specifically for SUVs, pick-up trucks, and vans with class III or IV hitches. The patented electric lift design allows for easy access to your trunk or tailgate. No need to unload your device or spend extra money on a swing away arm, it comes standard on the Premium Power Chair and Scooter Lift. The large platform accommodates chairs and scooters with wheelbases up to 27" W X 39" L. This lift also includes a height adapter to properly adjust the lift to the correct height of your vehicle, and an anti-tilt device to prevent the platform from rocking. To secure your mobility device during transport, two retractable straps are included, eliminating the need for additional tie downs. Simply drive your chair or scooter onto the platform and then secure it. Once you reach your destination, lower the lift with a push of a button and drive your chair off the carrier. The platform folds up vertically when not in use to save space while parking in a garage or other tight space.
