It provides faster transfer of data. There is also a black carry bag for the enclosure. And the external case itself. This enclosure supports SATA based hard drives. Which are the most common ones. The case is made of metal so it's durable enough to protect the disk. Mounting the hdd into the enclosure is pretty easy and intuitive The only tool you need is a small cross-head screwdriver.
