Overview for the Gel Foam Toilet Seat Cushion The Gel-Foam Toilet Seat Cushion incorporates a top layer of gel and a bottom layer of foam to provide comfort and maximum pressure relief. The baffled gel pack design stabilizes the gel to insure that the gel doesn’t migrate away from the high pressure areas. The heat-sealed vinyl casing is water proof and cleans easily with disinfectants and is soft and gentle on the skin. There are four Velcro straps that secure the cushion to the toilet seat. Easy To Use Place the Gel-Foam Toilet Seat Cushion on the toilet seat with the open end of the horseshoe in the front. Lift the toilet seat and secure the four Velcro straps. Each strap is to be threaded through both rectangular rings and are closed by placing the end of the strap on top of the opposing side then pull snug but not too tight. Easy Care The vinyl seat cushion is heat-sealed and can be cleaned with a mild disinfectant. Each strap can be removed and cleaned by wiping, spraying or soaking in a disinfectant. Do not boil or place in a microwave. If the straps require replacing they can be ordered as (model# 909397). If a tear or rip is observed, the unit should be discarded. Over an extended time the liquid dissipates so the cushion should be replaced if the gel has disappeared.
