hi my name is adam and i'm here with spotics today we're going to show you how easy it is to install a gas fireplace remote control so here we've got the skytech 1001-a let's take a look at what's inside the box inside the box will be your instructions your on and off remote control the 12-volt battery for the remote control the receiver box with four double-a batteries for the receiver box the optional wall plate and the hardware necessary for installation taking a closer look at the remote control you'll notice it has a simple on and off to install the batteries turn the remote over remove the battery door insert the 12-volt battery and replace the battery door at which point you'll be able to use the on and off buttons and you'll notice the red indicator light blinking when you press the button taking a closer look at our battery powered receiver we'll notice the lead wires that conn
