[Music] every so often a new product comes our way that is really helpful and we have to share it with our customers NTE has a new line of heat shrink insulated solder butt connectors these are not the old type of butt connectors you've used in the past no more crimping using a soldering iron or having to cut strength tube to fit these new butt connectors have it all in one package plus they have a waterproof adhesive sealer built right in as well great for the easy splicing of wires in the shop or in the field the first one we'll use is the blue connector this is for wires ranging from 14 to 16 gauge take the wires that will be spliced trim the ends and then push them together so the wire strands intertwine with each other looking at the connector you'll see two blue bands those are the heat activated adhesive seals the gray bands you see in the middle are the low temperature solder ri
