[Music] hello YouTube in today's video we're going to upgrade to CPU in my dell poweredge ET 1:40 server from base model e 21 24 processor which is a four core fourth fret to three point three gigahertz to this one this is a brand new CPU that's not brand new in terms of what intel has to offer but this is a xeon e21 36 v6 at the end here designates that this is a six core CPU if we take a look at the advertised specifications here this one has hyper-threading technology which the old one does not and all the other things are basically the same so we still have ddr4 ECC support which is in there already of course we have a VX which is you know good turbo boost and virtualization which we obviously need so this is the 21:36 the old one is a 21 24 I'll overlay the differences in terms of clock speeds here on the video so you can see yeah the main differences between them I will be going u
