SochGreen Interlabial pads are much smaller than panty liners and are to be worn externally along with cloth pads or menstrual cup. The petal pad is a small, petal shaped, pad that is tucked between the labia (lips or folds of skin at the vaginal opening) to catch the menstrual flow much closer to the vagina to avoid messy leaks during heavy flow/ flow with clots. The pad has no leakproof backing, and will leak as they fill up, so be aware that these are only used for very light absorbency - more like a liner than a pad. You can place it as it is or fold in half or roll it up to form a cylinder and place between the labia. This will help regulate your flow towards the centre of your pad. This is useful for those who tend to have more front, back or side - bleeding patterns. Using these, along with cloth pads will significantly increase the time you can wear your cloth pads. As these are held in place by the labia, you need to be careful while going to the loo, and make sure you do not drop them in the toilet seat. You must remove the labia pad before sitting on the toilet. You can also stitch these on top of your existing cloth pads to increase their absorbency. Or use them as a back-up to your menstrual cup. Back of each pad has a small loop to accommodate a string provided. These are to help you in washing, drying and storing your Interlabia pads so they do not get lost in your washing machine / drying line. DO's:-Always use a clean and dry pad. Use mild soap to clean the pad; rinse thoroughly to make sure no soap remains on the pad. Dry it in direct sunlight when possible, or dry in your machine on low heat. Store in clean and dry place. Wash the Interlabial pad before first use. DONT's:-Do not soak/wash the pad in hot water as it will set stains. Never use a wet/damp pad. Do not store a wet/damp pad in your cupboard. Do not brush the Interlabial pad.
