hi this is George Argo with our go electrical services and I am the surge catcher guy today we're going to talk about how to convert an electric range 3 prong to a four prong wire system what we have here is a terminal strip now what we're doing is we're just removing this obviously there's no power to this terminal strip this is a hot wire here there's your neutral wire in the center and then on the other side would be the other hot wire now granted we have no power here because our cord is unplugged and we have no source this would resemble the power terminal strip in your stove or oven or whatever device it would be and now I'm tightening down the last hot wire on my terminal strip now in the back of your unit your terminal strip would be labeled it would have an R and a B for red and black it would have a G for green and a white a W for white or an N for neutral now if your terminal
