hey what's up guys today i'm going to show you how to install a three-prong range cord on an electric range [Music] so first thing you're going to do is locate the terminal block and typically that's going to be found on the back of the stove on this particular unit we're going to have to remove this panel right here because the terminal block is right behind it so this is your terminal block you have since we're installing the three prong range cord you're gonna have the well you got the the terminal on the right side here as you can see this is the black for one of your hots then in the middle we have a the new the white white wire for the neutral and then uh your other hot for the red side and on the three three-prong what makes these a little bit confusing for some people on the three-prong range cord there's no color coordination as you can see you literally just have three prongs
