Sonoma Raceway 50th Anniversary Book

in 1969 John Bishop left SCCA to found EMSA with his wife peg and help from bill France senior he promised racing with a difference and he delivered here's Justin with three important fellows in emphases history every year seems to mark a very special celebration for one of the car manufacturers one of the drivers but next year is the milestone for EM sir we mark 50 years and so many of the cars and drivers here have taken part in that and seeing Scott Pruett here who is a seven-time champion you've won more races than any man I think has ever participated in the sport we're here to celebrate a very special book we are you know it's absolutely incredible how far imps has come when you look back and I mean it's not been easy I mean all these guys know ralph off and the whole group it's it's up and down hill but to be here 50 years and marking that I'm proud to be here and be a part of it
