Sony 4K 3-CMOS 1/3-type Sensor XDCAM Professional Camcorder, Black (PXWZ190)

My name is Ayman Oghanna, I am a journalist and news cameraman working in the Middle East. I have been a Sony user for a while now and I am always keen to see what they come out with next. And today Sony have asked me to test their new PXW-Z190 camera. The PXW-Z190 has 1/3 inch Exmor R 4K 3-CMOS sensors. The camera shoots in 4K 50/60p XAVC-L and can cover a range of applications from news, corporate to events. The PXW-Z190 uses Face Detection AF and also uses Sony’s technology Face Registration AF so when I am filming more than one person it’s going to make my life a lot easier. Working in the Middle East I have to deal with a lot of contrasts, bright light, shade and being able to shoot in Hybrid Log Gamma gives me a lot of options in what I can use in my films and also to transmit my material straight away without grading.
