today I'm going to talk about a camera that you've probably never heard of before or if you have you're probably frustrated like I am trying to find content on the web about it because there's just not a lot out there and I don't know why this camera just does not get a lot of love and I'm talking about the sony hxr MC 2500 now what a long name right but I guess a camera of this stature deserves such a hefty name okay if you're not familiar with this camera at all this thing is massive which is probably one of the reasons why it doesn't get a lot of love it's it weighs about 6 pounds I'd have to look it up again on the on the specs of the camera but it weighs approximately 6 pounds and it it's great on a tripod and it's it's a shoulder rig mount if you went back probably 20 years maybe even 15 years who knows maybe even 10 this camera would probably be priced at a lot higher than it is
