hi I'm David from Sony our 2012 cyber-shot and handycam cameras all come with our updated play memory software to import and manage your photos and videos so today I'll show you how to install the software and import content to a windows-based computer here's what you'll need your camera the cable to connect a camera to your computer or if you have a handy cam the one built into the strap and a computer running Windows XP or later if you have an internet connection you'll be able to install some additional features such as DVD burning and web upload let's install PlayMemories using the installation file stored on the camera start by connecting your camera to the computer via USB turn your camera on and if a menu appears on the camera select USB connect then wait until the camera indicates it is connected in MTP mode now go to your computer Start menu and select computer from here scroll
