Hey indie filmmakers, Griffin here in beautiful
Grindelwald, Switzerland, where I've been hiking today and testing out
this SpiderLight holster. I’ve often watched photographers use holsters
like this to carry a second camera body, and I’ve always wondered if it would fit
my video shooting style. So I put it through its paces. Literally 176,000 paces with this thing strapped to
my belt— as I hiked through Switzerland and Italy. Australia and Alaska. So today I’ll talk about what works and
what doesn’t for my shooting style, and if this is a tool that I really need for filmmaking. Spider sent me their SpiderLight Backpacker
Kit, which retails for $125, and includes the traditional belt clip holster and quick
release plate, but also an adapter to mount the whole system onto a backpack instead. Plus a GoPro adapter. When I attach the quick release plate, I do
wish the screw head was deeper
