so a buddy of mine came to me and said hey i want to build some storage organization drawers for the back of my jeep a place to put camping gear and climbing gear and stuff like that and what kind of wood should i use and i said you know just about any type of plywood would work but if i were you i would use baltic birch and he goes i don't know what that is what are you talking about so i thought [Music] hey woodworkers youtube thanks for checking in my name is mark i'm from woodworker source we're just your friendly harvard lumber supplier so a lot of our suppliers refer to this as russian perch so you might hear me call it russian might hear me call baltic you probably heard the same thing if you've been to your suppliers as well those are just interchangeable names for it but when it comes to working with it other things are more important so this is a plywood product aka sheetgood
